Welcome to Newcastle's Favourite Ice Cream Shop, located in the heart of Beaumont Street, Hamilton and now open in Charlestown Square.

Cold Rock Hamilton first opened its doors on Boxing Day 2003. Store owner Ben Hofman who was new to the area did lots of research as to where would be the best spot in Newcastle for a Cold Rock store. He could not go past Beaumont Street's more than 30 restaurants and tremendous night life. "From day one the locals took on this new and exciting concept and soon made Cold Rock their favourite place for dessert." "I could not have asked for any more." "You only have to come to the shop any night of the week to realise the buzz that this unique ice cream is having in the community." Cold Rock Awards

Each Year Cold Rock holds an awards night to recognise those shops who have stood out from the rest in certain areas. Cold Rock Newcastle achieved Rookie of the Year in 03/04 and then runner-up Store of the Year in 04/05. These awards are a great achievement for Cold Rock Newcastle and all its employees. Also we would not have been able to achieve these awards with out you as loyal customers. Once again Thank You.

Ice Cream Cakes

When you have the best tasting Ice Cream in Newcastle, it's not hard to understand why our cakes are making such a hit at so many birthday parties. We have 3 sizes of Ice ream Cakes, Small serves 8-10, Medium serves 15 - 20 and Large serves 30-40. Each cake can have up to three different flavours of Ice Cream and each layer can then have as many mix-ins as you think your taste buds can handle. We can then theme your cake with any photo or picture you like. You are only limited by your imagination. Come to the shop for any more information.
